can I get waxed on my period?
Yes - you can still get waxed during your period. Wearing a fresh tampon or menstrual cup helps you stay comfortable, and some clients are a bit more sensitive during this time.

what is a lash fill and how often do I need one?
A lash fill is a maintenance appointment that replaces shed or grown-out lash extensions to keep your set looking balanced and full. Most clients book fills every 1-3 weeks depending on the natural lash growth, retention, and lifestyle. At Bare Michigan, fill timing is based on how long it has been since your last appointment.

When should I book a full lash set instead of a fill?
if more than half of your lash extensions have shed or it has been several weeks since your last appointment, a full set may be required. Final determination is made during your consultation to protect natural lash health.

what is brow lamination?
Brow lamination smooths and sets brow hairs into a fuller, face-framing shape. Results typically last 6-8 weeks.

can I combine lamination with shaping or tint?
Yes - combining lamination with shaping and tinting gives the most defined, polished look. Our brow lamination and tint service includes a brow wax.

will brow tint stain my skin?
The tint may slightly stain the skin for the first day or two, especially if your brows are sparse. This fades quickly and helps create a fuller appearance.

where are you located?
Bare Michigan is located in Rockford, Michigan inside Hair Expressions LLC, conveniently serving Rockford, Sparta, Cedar Springs, Belmont, and north Grand Rapids.

do you accept walk-ins?
All appointments are scheduled by booking only - we do not accept walk-ins. Book online to secure your spot.

how do I book an appointment?
Use the ‘Services” button at the top of the page, the category you want, then select your service and time - it takes less than a minute.

what is your cancellation policy?
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. No-shows or late cancellations are subject to a fee of 50% of the originally scheduled service.

do you take Venmo, CashApp or tips?
Yes! Tips are appreciated (never expected!) and accepted via cash, card, Venmo or CashApp.
